This webinar will center on Pipeline Safety Management Systems, or PSMS, and how companies can change the industry without regulation.  We will break down how PSMS works from identifying, ranking and analyzing risk to identifying, testing and improving controls.  Trisha will be discussing how CenterPoint Energy is using “P”SMS to break down the silos and bring the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) together in order to reduce risk for the workforce, assets and the public.

The webinar will be presented by Trisha Butler.  Trisha is currently the Manager of Quality Control  in the Safety Management System and Quality Department at CenterPoint Energy.  She has been with CenterPoint for five years, and has spent three of them in the Insurance & Claims department and the last two in Quality Assurance and Quality Control.  She has a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) and is a Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) through the American Society of Quality.  Trisha also co-presented a session on PSMS at the Gas Operations and Technical Leadership Summit this past August.
