The job of a utility industry Team Leader is very different from that of the crew worker. Team Leaders are responsible for the work of others, not just themselves. Many non-technical leadership skills are needed for this important role.

Give your line team leaders practical, hands-on experience in how to effectively lead their crews with this energy industry focused, two-day course that is perfect for Foremen, Crew Leaders, Leads, Craft and Shift Supervisors.

Instead of covering the technical aspects of their work, we will teach the leadership skills they need to effectively direct the activities of their crew and communicate with management. The situations and cases will be similar to those they encounter on the job all the time.  The skills and knowledge they will gain will relate specifically to effective leadership.  Attendees will receive leadership tools they can immediately apply back on the job in areas such as planning work, leading teams, and improving safety.

Topics Covered:

Recognizing & Motivating Crews
Planning Work
